EFC-Marahan held 4th Tribal Family Camp

Evangel Family Church, Marahan, Marilog District was extremely excited to host the 4th Annual Tribal Family Camp slated on May 28-31, 2018.  The 3-day Tribal Family Camp was composed of different Evangel Family Tribal Churches in Marilog District.  Prior to the event, tribal EFC Pastors, leaders and volunteers would never mind walking kilometers in the blistering heat, with the goal of inviting their members to the said gathering.  Most of these members live deep in the high interior mountains with no roads.

Kairos Training leads harvesters to the “uttermost parts of the earth”

The two-part nine-day course was a milestone not only for the 19 participants but also for the seven TMFI facilitators who conducted the entire training in the Cebuano language for the first time. Despite the participants’ limited access to reading materials, they were able to fully grasp the Cebuano-translated Kairos course which deepened their understanding on global missions.

Tribal Pastors, volunteers equip for greater harvest

In order to grow in maturity, wholeness, fruitfulness and Christlikeness, Pastors Patricio and Mivelyn Margate, Core Leaders of JECPP Tribal Ministry at Marahan, Marilog District feel the great need to equip the tribal believers in their jurisdiction through feeding on the truth from God’s word.

Tribal pastors and volunteer workers ignite passion in serving

For the purpose of strengthening commitment to do ministry up in the mountains, thirty-five tribal Pastors and volunteer workers gathered last November 22, 2016 at EFC- Marahan, Marilog District. The speakers, Pastors Renante and Delia Miguel, Senior Pastors of EFC – Mati and the Core Leaders of Davao Oriental Section, shared topics with emphasis on ministry in these last days.

Tribal youth gather for annual camp

Indeed, the camp kindled a firm commitment among the youth to spread the gospel to the lost.
