Two days of joyful experiences at Western Visayas Youth Conference

On May 22 and 23, 2018, some 124 excited young people from Iloilo churches were gathered in Living Spring Inland Resort at Dumangas, Iloilo. On the other side of the area, another group of young people who belonged to Antique section held a youth camp simultaneously with Iloilo section. They camped at Villamor Elementary School at Dao, Antique.

EFC-Marahan held 4th Tribal Family Camp

Evangel Family Church, Marahan, Marilog District was extremely excited to host the 4th Annual Tribal Family Camp slated on May 28-31, 2018.  The 3-day Tribal Family Camp was composed of different Evangel Family Tribal Churches in Marilog District.  Prior to the event, tribal EFC Pastors, leaders and volunteers would never mind walking kilometers in the blistering heat, with the goal of inviting their members to the said gathering.  Most of these members live deep in the high interior mountains with no roads.

BRO. CARLOS “Carling” FLORES: A LIFE PREPARED FOR GLORY

Bro. Carling Flores stayed in Pandan, Antique for 4 years until he arrived at a good old age.  During the course of time, his health weaken and eventually he was not able to walk and was immobilized for weeks. Until God called him in His presence at the ripe age of 74, he lived a fulfilled and productive life.

16 trainees graduated from JECPP Regional Bible Training Center

This is an answer to the call of God in the life of Rev. Dr. Robert Lim, a servant of God and the founding chairman of Jireh Evangel Church Planting in the Philippines (JECPP). He received the vision from God to plant 100 Bible believing churches in the Philippines. By God’s grace, the Holy Spirit enabled him to plant over 400 churches three decades later.

Luzon NexGen Youth Camp: Reigniting Passion for God’s Service

Indeed, we have seen God’s amazing grace manifested because this is the first time the NexGen 5 Luzon was held in two different places: in Palawan and in Baguio City. Both retreats were done successfully by God’s grace and mercy.

Passion Reignited (NexGen CEV Regional Youth Conference 2018)

On April 9-12, 2018 young hearts and souls from Evangel Family Churches of Central and Eastern Visayas took part of the most anticipated four-day gathering of summer 2018. Hopefuls for God’s touch were from Albuera, Leyte; Balamban, Cebu; Baybay, Leyte; Bogo, Cebu; Bohol, Calbayog, Samar; Cebu City, Ormoc, Leyte and Tacloban, Leyte.

Northern Mindanao NexGen Youth Fanned into Flame

The 5th Northern Mindanao Regional NexGen Youth Conference emboldened the youth with great devotion to lead a life dedicated to Christ. On March 26-29, 2018, some 126 EFC youth from Cagayan de Oro, Lala, Naawan, Manticao, Mambayaan and Malaybalay gathered together at Evangel Family Church, Cagayan de Oro City for a 4-day conference with the theme: REIGNITE PASSION.

Southern Mindanao Youth Camp held to rekindle passion for God

The Annual Next Generation Youth Conference is one of the most anticipated gathering of Evangel Family Church’s young people all throughout the Philippines. This year is Southern Mindanao Region’s 5th year to conduct the said event.  It aims to immerse the youth in God’s presence through teachings and mentoring from the anointed servants of God and to encourage them through fellowship with other young people from the different EFC churches in the region.

EFC Church in Action

Upon receiving their relief buckets, the lumads exclaimed “dakel ne salamat kaniyu lang ennog tabang kanami”(Thank you very much for helping us) in their native language. They were more than thankful that there were people used by God to touch their grieving hearts and reach out to them amidst difficult situations.

The Unspeakable Gift

One of the highlights of the program was the message given by Pastor Andrew Kwong, Senior Pastor of EFC-Davao. He pointed out that Christmas is filled with God’s promise. He added a verse in the bible that says, “And this is the promise that He made to us—eternal life (1 John 2:25) and this life is in His son (1 John 5:11). He further stressed that Jesus is God’s most extravagant gift to mankind and that He is the gift that keeps on giving.

The Best of Christmas

The get-together activity culminates the whole year of serving the Kingdom of God. It was a physical and spiritual refreshment to all outstation pastors and volunteers who committed their lives faithfully in church planting. It was a time of strengthening, sharing, unloading of burdens, and giving comfort among themselves as well.

EFC-Davao Brings Hope to Flood Victims

On the night of December 22, 2017, thousands of families were displaced after the onslaught of cyclone "Vinta" (Tembin) which resulted to terrible flooding in Davao City, particularly in Juliville Subdivision, Jade Valley, Tigatto Relocation Area and a tribal community at Sitio Dumalogdog, a part of Marilog District, where some of EFC-Davao members reside. These families have evacuated to the barangay’s schools and gymnasiums for temporary shelter, and 16 families of Sitio Dumalogdog lost their houses to flood waters.
