As Bible believers we hold dear every word that is written in its pages. One powerful verse is found in Mathew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” This verse covers the purpose of our walk as Christians. What a great assurance we have as ministers of the gospel that the Lord Himself is with us as we go and bring His message to this dying world.
EFC-La Union treasured its commitment to spread the gospel. By His grace, He has added souls into its territory. On May 25, 2019, seven (7) new believers submitted themselves to water baptism to display publicly their commitment to follow Jesus. The glorious event was witnessed by the whole congregation at Vista Grandja Resort, Bauang, La Union.
The church took advantage of the occasion to hold a family day as well. It was a great avenue to fellowship with one another outside of the confines of the church building. Everyone enjoyed swimming, eating and playing games. An atmosphere of love and gladness saturated the entire place.
The picture of families that are bonded together is a sweet reminder of God’s faithfulness to EFC-La Union. As the years go by, the church has seen tremendous transformation in the lives of its members. Truly, the hand of God is manifested in every family unit. The laughter of the children is a reflection of God’s everlasting love. The strength of the young people and the wisdom of the mature ones encompass God’s bountiful blessings.
Each department take part in the organization of the said activity, the Youth played an important role of creating games and activities, the mothers and women department made sure to prepare delicious meals for everyone to enjoy. The praise and worship team sanctify themselves to usher everyone in solemn worship and Pastor Novero earnestly prayed for the people to be fed with God’s word. Certainly, it was a refreshing time for the body, soul and spirit. To God be the glory!
