Two sections of JECPP Southern Mindanano, SOCSKSARGEN and Davao del Sur, teamed up last month for CPM (Church Planting Movement) training of more than 40 christians eager to obey the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The event was the first CPM conducted in SOCSKSARGEN section and was participated by EFC churches in Malbang, Koronadal, Polomolok and General Santos City. The two-day training held at Philmars Inn, Dona Soledad, Labangal, General Santos City was designed to assist and rekindle the passion for souls in cell churches ministry.
SOCSKSARGEN Section Leader Rev. Albert Polino and Davao del Sur Section Leader Rev. Tony Angelias were the resource speakers. After the SOCSKSARGEN CPM, Pastor Albert and Pastor Tony proceeded to train another batch of delegates from Magsaysay and Kidapawan churches in Davao del Sur.
Topics include The Great Commission, Cast Vision, Launch Out Into The Deep, Work With God In Revival, and God’s Priority In Mission. The training gave time for interaction among participants and the speakers by discussing exciting and difficult situations they face in their cell churches.
The participants enjoyed the food, fellowship, accommodation and much more they enjoyed the presence of God during altar calls. Some of them were baptized by the Holy Spirit, and some were amazed to see for the first time the move of the Holy Spirit. One participant said that this is the best training she had ever attended, and she was blessed and encouraged . The participants returned home empowered and equipped to plant more churches.
