It’s truly remarkable to reflect on the journey the church has taken since its beginning in February 2014. From the humble beginnings in Balingasag, Misamis Oriental, with just 10 individuals gathering in a garage, to where they stand today, it’s evident that God’s faithfulness has been with them every step of the way.
The journey of faith is often marked by both triumphs and trials, and it’s clear that the church has experienced its share of both. The challenges that arose over the years may have seemed insurmountable at times, leading to difficult decisions and even the departure of some members. Yet, amidst these challenges and transitions, the unwavering truth remains: the Lord is faithful, and He continues to build His church.
What a remarkable journey it has been, filled with the faithfulness and provision of a gracious God.
To celebrate a decade of ministry is a testament to the perseverance, dedication, and unwavering faith of their congregation. Through the highs and lows, through challenges and triumphs, God has been faithful every step of the way, guiding, protecting, and providing for the church.
In commemorating the past and reflecting on the present, “THRIVE” serves as a beacon of hope and encouragement. It reminds them that no matter what challenges they may face, with God by their side, they have the strength and resilience to overcome them and flourish.
Under the leadership of Pastor Brian Calalin, may the congregation continue to embrace the spirit of “THRIVE” as they journey forward. May it inspire them to pursue excellence, cultivate a vibrant faith community, and impact the world around them with the love and grace of God.
What a wonderful blessing to have Rev. Roberto Padinit share such a powerful message on “THE POWER OF UNITY” during their anniversary service. Unity is indeed a foundational principle in the life of the church, and Rev. Padinit’s reminder of its importance is timely and impactful.
When God’s people are united in purpose and direction, incredible things can happen. The Bible tells them that where there is unity, God commands His blessing (Psalm 133:1-3). It is in unity that the Church can truly thrive and fulfill God’s calling to be a light in the world.
The presence of God was truly palpable as members responded to the altar call, recommitting their lives to Him and deepening their commitment to the Lord. Pastor Brian’s heartfelt challenge to strive for unity with God, the church, and their leaders is a powerful call to action for all believers.
As they lifted their voices in unison, singing the theme song “THRIVE,” it must have been a moment filled with joy and spiritual renewal. The fellowship and unity experienced among the church family further strengthen the bonds of love and community within the congregation.
Indeed, to God be the glory for the incredible work He is doing in and through the church. May the spirit of unity and commitment continue to permeate every aspect of their ministry, empowering them to thrive and fulfill God’s purposes in the years to come.
