The Star of the Season

One of the great opportunities we have these days is to savor the Christmas season. Themed "There is a Star," Evangel Family Church Cagayan de Oro celebrated its Annual Family Night last December 23, 2018. Everyone came with sheer excitement to celebrate Christmas together as a family. This event has also become a warm reunion where overseas members and guests of the families away from home are welcomed back.

Joy that lasts beyond holidays (EFC CDO’s “The Joy Project”)

“The JOY Project” aspired to give a jubilant Christmas party for kids and gift-giving for adults who are faithfully attending the Bible Studies every Sunday afternoon in various outstations. EFC-CDO desired to bring great delight to kids and adults by allowing them to experience the joy of knowing Jesus in the process. The church workers went to various outstation barangays such as Zone 8 Upper Canitoan, Nazareth, Indahag, Bolonsori, Calaanan (composed of four areas: Puli, zone 10, Pagatpat, Canitoan, and Duplex), and in Molugan, Misamis Oriental.

Series of Christmas Celebrations Conducted in FTM

There's no other time of the year as joyous and as celebrative as First Touch Ministry's month of December. FTM's series of Christmas celebrations is something to look forward to year after year. With the number of events in queue, the ministry center hall was decorated beautifully by Bro. Edgel Barrientos and his hardworking team.

EFC- Batangas soars high in their 12th Year Anniversary

On December 9, 2018 members of EFC- Batangas assembled for a special day of  thanksgiving.  For more than two decades God’s steadfast love and faithfulness are apparent in this church.  During the occasion, they reminisce the past with smiles on their faces, they encouraged one another to trust God for the present and look forward to the bright future God prepared for them.

EFC DavNor Youth Awakened To Their Purpose

For this reason, the youths of EFC Davao del Norte (DavNor) held a Sectional Youth Awakening Conference on November 30, 2018 at Evangel Family Church Tagum, Davao del Norte. This program is conceived to unlock the youth’s genuine desire to experience the powerful presence of Jesus and lead them into a life of divine purpose.

EFC-Antique Sunday Schools nurtured kids for Worship

The Sunday School Teachers of Evangel Family Churches in Dao, Barasanan, San Jose and Tobias Fornier, Antique gathered all their Sunday School Kids for a Children’s Camp with the theme, Worship the Lord your God.  The 2-day camp was slated on November 1-2, 2018 at EFC, Tobias Fornier, Antique.

CPM TRAINING conducted in SOCCSKSARGEN & DAVAO ORIENTAL

Constant equipping and training of ministers facilitates church’s growth effectively and efficiently.  For this reason, JECPP’s Church Planting Ministry (CPM) in SOCCSKSARGEN Section brought together  20 church workers and CPM volunteers on October 12-13 and 30 church workers from Davao Oriental Section October 18-19.

Church grew in number; found new place of worship

On September 9, 2018, we gathered as one EFC Candon family and dedicated the new place of worship that God has given us.  We stood in the presence of God together with JECPP’s Luzon Regional Director, Rev. Jetro and his wife Rev. Annaliza Novero, whose lives God has used to guide, support, and care for us.

Rev. Lim bonds with EFC- Puerto Princesa

Truly, God never fails.  In His appointed time, he sent his servant to personally minister to the brethren in EFC Puerto Princesa together with JECPP’s Spiritual Leaders on September 23, 2018.  The visit encouraged the brethren as they have been desiring for a personal acquaintance with the person whose life God has used to plant churches in the Philippines which included them.

EFC Veterans, QC turns 5

On September 16, 2018, EFC Veterans, Quezon City celebrated its 5th Year Milestone as a cell church, it was held at the Covered Court of Barangay Veterans to accommodate more people. Brethren from EFC Taytay, Rizal and EFC Padre Garcia, Batangas were present to show support and encouragement. The event happened during the onslaught of Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut), however it did not deter the group to pursue their celebration.

Growth matters – Building God’s fellow workers

Evangel Family Church- CDO conducted a Christian Growth Class (CGC) team building activity on August 27, 2018 with the theme “Growth Matters.” More than 100 participants from the host church, outstation church pastors and volunteer church planters enjoyed an afternoon of spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and team building activities.

FTM Family Day, a day to remember

More than the fellowship and laughter, the Family Day was a life-affirming event for all families present, it strengthened the bond of unity amongst members of FTM and built strong friendships to neighboring EFC churches as well.
