August 25, 2025, Evangel Family Church – Datu Ladayon, Arakan, North Cotabato, joyfully celebrated its 14th Thanksgiving Celebration with the theme “Madagayaong Pagpasalamat ngadto sa Dios” (2 Corinthians 9:12).

During this special gathering, Jireh Evangel Church Planting Philippines (JECPP) also honored Pastor Alberto M. Flomentera and Pastor Emey Flomentera for their 25 years of faithful and dedicated ministry.

Throughout their journey, the couple faced both challenges and victories in ministry and family life. Yet, through it all, God’s sustaining grace carried them, His strength enabled them to endure, and His faithfulness never failed. Their ministry began in Sitio Balaas, Brgy. Salumay, Marilog District, Davao City, where they served faithfully despite the difficulty of crossing three rivers just to reach their church. From there, the Lord led them to Sitio On Patag, Brgy. Salumay, and eventually to their present assignment in Brgy demonstrating. Datu Ladayon, Arakan, North Cotabato.

The celebration became even more meaningful with the message of the guest speaker, Rev. Mivelyn L. Margate, who reminded everyone that true blessing is not measured by wealth or possessions, but by the gift of salvation and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, who gave His life on the Cross. She emphasized that gratitude must not only be spoken, but must also be lived out—through service in the ministry and by love and care to others.

Even as strong winds and heavy rains poured, the congregation pressed on in worship and thanksgiving, declaring that God’s faithfulness and favor remain constant through the years and will continue for generations to come. Truly, His love never fails.

Pastor Alberto and Pastor Emey expressed their heartfelt gratitude to JECPP for the recognition and for the privilege of serving alongside their church family in advancing God’s Kingdom. Their 25 years in ministry stand as a living testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

May the Lord continue to pour out His abundant blessings upon JECPP, its leaders, and its partners in the mission of reaching more souls for Christ.
