Youth Revive is the major service of Evangel Family Church Naawan under God’s Youth Movement (GYM) ministry, taking place every first Friday of the month. Basically, Youth Revive is a way of church awakening, empowering, restoration, strengthening, and igniting the passion of the youth for church planting, for reaching young people for Christ. It is also a time to soak ourselves in the presence of God through praise and worship and listening to God’s inspiring message.

Pastor Roberto Padinit, together with the church planters from EFC Cagayan de Oro main church namely, Jose Brian Wong , Bobby Jun-Jun Merida and Ramil Gulle paid us a visit at the night of our Youth Revive service all the way from Cagayan de Oro City to speak about revival that happened in Israel when God’s people had no King. They were also joined by Pastors Vicky and Bismark Buendia from nearby Manticao.

Pastor Roberto underscored the need to forsake all foreign gods which could be anything or anyone that takes away our devotion and love away from God. He further emphasized that we need to repent of our sins which cause spiritual poverty, defeat and lifeless Christianity and to turn to living God.

After Pastor Roberto preached the word, I challenged the congregation to surrender their foreign gods and turn to the only and true God and to walk with the presence of God daily to have a victorious life and to experience life at its fullest.

They responded and cried out before the presence of God and renewed their commitment to God and made a vow to serve Him alone. Because of what they have done, God turned their sorrow into joy dancing and singing before the Lord with all their hearts. Even after they leftfor Cagayan de Oro, the young people still kept on singing until midnight while others were so full of the word of God that they did not feel any hunger at all.

It was indeed a breakthrough and great revival in our church! Glory to God.
